A nice friendly smile is often the first thing a man notices closely followed by the eyes. Eye contact plays a huge part in attraction. It doesn’t matter what colour the eyes are it’s the look in them that is important.
The eyes are said to be the windows to the soul and can express many emotions. Most men do not understand emotions on an intellectual level but can instinctively read emotions on a deeper level although it is doubtful that they themselves are aware of this.
Men like a woman to be a woman. While they often appreciate a strong woman they usually want to feel that they are the stronger of the pairing. They feel the need to protect their woman but modern times have made this difficult because women now see themselves as equal to men.
Equality is good but when it comes to relationships unless the man is very sure of himself, he may feel that he is not needed and therefore friction may develop. This does not mean that women have to be doormats and chained to the kitchen sink. Far from it! Modern women have to know when to be strong and also when to show their vulnerable side.
Men love women who listen to them. A commonly heard complaint is “my wife doesn’t understand me”. What this really means is that she is probably too busy to give him all the time and attention he needs. Men are usually flattered by and attracted to women who give them their undivided attention.
Men often say that they don’t like being smothered but as soon as they get a sniffle they demand attention. Their sniffle is nothing like the pneumonia you were battling last week it’s completely different and may do them serious harm if not treated with every medicine known to science.
Men like their women to be sexy for them but heaven forbid that any other man notices or pays attention. If their partner dresses sexy she is looking for trouble but if she dresses conservatively she is boring.
What men want in a woman is someone with a pretty face, nice smile and expressive eyes. She must be strong but not be afraid to show her vulnerable side. The perfect woman will hang on his every word. She must understand that men’s illnesses are far more serious than women’s and that men need constant nursing when they are sick. Through all this she must be sexy when they are alone together but know how to behave in front of his friends.
Evolution is a wonderful thing. Perhaps one day men will discover this too!
